I think it was mandatory to learn in primary school. I was always complemented on how neat my handwriting was.
I might of forgot all that now. But i can easily write in any style whatsoever. I can copy anything graphically.

Learning cursive was required when I was in the 3rd grade, but my teacher didn't do much besides give us a packet to do for 10 mins in the morning. I didn't learn how to do it until recently, and my cursive ended up being a lot better than my normal handwriting, which is odd.

Same question.

I can do it, but it's pretty awful and hard to read. I had to have special lessons at school to try to improve it. Didn't take. I prefer to write in block caps or sometimes a random combination of both.

How tall are you?

Our Mom: 5'0

Our Bigoted Uncles: 6'3'' (with both enjoying being morbidly overweight)

Same question.

No. Not that I don't like it. I'll drink it when it's served, and I'll drink it instead of alcohol in social circumstances. Didn't have it at home as I grew up, but did at restaurants, and just never developed a taste for it. Probably a good thing. As an adult I like it just fine but don't think it's worth paying money for, even at a restaurant. I usually just ask for water.

Sometimes. In general I try to avoid sugar and caffeine which rules out most of what we call 'fizzy' drinks in the UK. I occasionally drink Pepsi Max if I want a caffeine jolt. I've tried the caffeine and sugar free versions but they taste a bit too synthetic to me and I don't like all the artificial sweeteners. Growing up I didn't like carbonated drinks at all, the sensation was unpleasant to me. At some point that went away.

Do you drink alcoholic drinks?

No. My health is kinda sensitive. I have gave in, (i will compromise my principles sometimes lol) and drank a mint julep, in order to chat up a blonde woman though. But no. I hate alcohol. I come from a family of heavy drinkers. I'm nothing like them, I dont want to touch the stuff. Plus it kills braincells. And i pride myself on a sharp intellect. Alchohol consumption is a socially bonding ritual. If you're autistic, by your very nature are not into social bonding rituals.

No. I was a binge drinker for many years (my way of coping with social interaction in college). I do not know how to moderate once I start drinking. I've been sober since August 15, 2015.

Same question.

No, I don't drink. I used to, particularly when I worked in publishing, as a way to socialise but I was always uncomfortable with it. I did quite like whiskeys and bourbons. In my early teens I would tell people I was allergic to alcohol as a way of avoiding it. Ironically, I now do seem to have developed some kind of allergic reaction to it - a couple of sips and my airways start to constrict, like asthma, which is very alarming. So I just gave it up, maybe 5 years ago. It was no great loss for me.

Have you/do you smoke marijuana?

I was a regular cannabis smoker in my 20s-early 30s. I stopped for a while, and then decided to try it again recently (for pain relief) once I moved to a state in which it was legal. "

Unfortunately, smoking or vaping now seems to exacerbate my health conditions. I may experiment with oils or edibles at some point in the future, but I don't feel like risking it right now. I nearly went to the hospital after an adrenal surge following taking a very small amount. My heart rate was in the 170s, and it took several hours to get it back down to even the 120s.

Note: I still use the topical creams (that are not psychoactive) for pain.

Same question.

I do. Maybe a couple of times per month. I prefer to vape THC oil these days. I have always found it a preferable intoxicant to alcohol. I particularly enjoy the way it enhances sensory input, such as taste and sound. I also love to do yoga when high as I am able to achieve deep stretches I cannot otherwise which is very satisfying.

Do you have any idea how you are perceived by others?

I'm not telepathic, i can only go on what i can detect on the surface, their body language, their words, their actions, but not their inner thoughts. Yes, i think i have some idea. But you never can tell what a person really thinks of you.

Likely perceived younger than I should be. Physically, mentally, emotionally, socially...
In that particular order, actually.
