I cried for most or all of my first day, aged 4 years old. I was sitting on my own in a corner. Don't remember any participation with the rest of the class.

Do you remember all your teachers at school (ie from around ages 4-18)?

i remember very few. i remember the brutes that paddled me and browbeat me and humiliated me in front of the whole class and not only that, but encouraged the class to laugh at me. but i also remember the elect few who were nice to me and encouraging of my individuality. kudos to Herb Dempsey [RIP] and Mrs. Michaelis [RIP].

have you ever gotten to sit at and play a pipe organ?

No. I don't play keys at all beyond a rudimentary St. James Infirmary Blues on piano. I wouldn't know where to start with a pipe organ - all those knobs and pedals. I imagine it's quite a rush though, having all that volume at your disposal...

Do you enjoy pool/snooker/billiards?

i am a continuing danger around any table with green felt on it, not because i can play well but because of my poor aim.

do you like listening to bass instruments such as a bass saxophone or a bass tuba?

Yes.

Did you have any trouble learning to read as a kid?

Not especially.

Did you have trouble learning to speak as a kid?

Not that I'm aware of. As for reading I read voraciously from an early age.

Can you dance?

i can dance about as well as a fish rides a bicycle.

i don't believe so. the only time i drank too much was when i was in the army and pee test time came along, and i can't really readily pee if some sergeant is staring at my willy waiting for the urine to squirt out of it. so i had to drink so much water that my shame was overridden by the sheer force of water backed up in my bladder.

what did you think of that little TRUE story?

I'd say it was a risky strategy. I feel like I watched an episode of Casualty (British ER) once where a guy had been unable to go for so long that it was no longer possible for him to go. Like the pressure was so great it sealed the pipes. TV drama is all factual, right? Anyway, glad it worked out for you. I don't reckon I could go under that sort of psychological pressure.

To answer the question, when I had my bladder tumor removed I was advised by the docs to drink lots to 'flush' through the system. I took this a bit too literally and became hyperhydrated which was a really weird feeling. It also had the effect of making it look like my wound had healed more than it had and I was discharged but ended up back in hospital within about 24 hours for reasons I won't recount here because it's gross.

Have you ever performed on a stage in any capacity?

A few times. Part of the job assisting to host private parties.

No, unless you count school plays.
I suppose i could muster up the nerve if the opportunity arose, yeah , maybe. Actually i wouldn't mind being a actor.

I had to do this Veterans Day thing in grade 6 (everyone in that grade had to do it, every year), where we sang songs that we learned in music class in front of the rest of the school + parents who came and were in military. I got in trouble for being "incredibly disrespectful" to the veterans, because I couldn't hold entirely still for an hour due to having ADHD and ASD. lol

Have you ever accidentally done something really disrespectful to someone or a group of people?

yes, definitely, too many times to recount here.
