androphobia = the fear of men. I couldn't find any specific term for the fear of handsome men.

I now know that "tumid" means to be swollen; "torpid" means to be inert and that "quixotic" is where something is unrealistic and impractical. Perhaps I should have known their definitions already. :?

You do hear "torpid" (meaning sluggish) alot.

FYI "quixotic" means to "to be like the character Don Quixote".

Thanks. :D

Shamefully I cannot profess to know anything about Don Quixote. My answers were found in a rather archaic vocabulary builder book. I have never heard anyone use any of the above terms.

"Chimerical" was another word I found to be interesting in the test. As I am tremendously bored most of the time, I am attempting to incorporate some of these into my spoken vocabulary. Words are rather interesting to me for some reason.

I learned a bit about solar panels cause I am fleeing society completely, I am going off the grid and probably even a bit under the grid. I want nothing to do with this place or myself. I will focus everything on survival and God and nothing else.

do please give us progress reports [on the solar and rest of going off the grid]

Okay well I am in the beginning stages and right now I am looking at inverters, It might be a few weeks before I actually buy parts but its looking like this in my mind. I haven't ironed out the details but, I am thinking

Solar panel -> Somewhere between 12v and 24v DC out -> battery -> 24v DC out -> inverter -> 120 AC out

Seems simple in concept but I am sure I'll hit some road blocks, I already picked out my hardware, just wanting to do more research because a purchase with research is the best kind of purchase.

Also its like 2 AM so I didn't learn anything yet but yesterday I learned about file compression and why tar files are actually pretty rad.

I wonder if water [after coarse filtering] can be sterilized with solar power?

I learned what a fluffernutter sandwich is, and apparently how pizza is a healthier choice than it.

Not a fluffernutter?

I learnt that European paper is generally a lot whiter and brighter than American paper...and they use this fluorescent UV dye to make it so the eyes see the blueness in the paper better, making it look whiter.

@smudge: No, it was a fluffernutter. I just mistyped, but went back and edited my post.

I learned that sometimes there are scenarios where if your unable to find your niche job occupation so to speak, then you might try the idea of creating such.

I learnt that an ostinato is a continually repeated musical phrase or rhythm and can form the rhythmic/chordal bed of a chaconne.

I learned that owl's head are working like a satellite dish, and reflect sounds to the ears. Some species of owls have one ear lower than the other and really helps in knowing where the sound come from.

I also found this website, I really like skulls.
