And I bathed last night.
I could have been the rats arse in the room.

when i was young and full of stinky testosterone, i often had to bathe twice per day, thoroughly, to keep people from being skunked out by me.

I had nightsweats for a couple of nights then forgot there was such a thing as bathing.
Like, gee, I stink
But can't put it together that bathing is the solution for that.

i have a relative in that situation. i am diplomatic. in close quarters in Uncle Sam's Army it was brutally put to me that i needed to wash my goat-smellin' @$$ daily [their language towards me]. took me a while before the clicked on in me noggin that i like it when i smell nice and am nice and clean and grease-free and my hair is silky smooth down my back and not greazy and stringy. it makes me feel more human.

I read that a lot of autistic people hate showering because of the sensory reasons, and a lot of ADHD people hate it because it's constant change or flux: dressed to not dressed, dry to wet, wet to soap, soap to shampoo, hot to cold, wet to dry, etc. It's a lot of overwhelm. Sometimes I wish there was a magic button for me to get my hair washed without all the fuss.

I detest showering.
I would rather sit in a tub and flannel myself.
I'll tip my head forward to wash my hair under a tap or hose so I don't get the water on my body.
No soap.
I have a fragrance free, everything free organic shampoo
But I'll often just use water
I have dry skin so don't really get that greasy.
I don't often stink either
Believe it or not.

^^you are fortunate to not often be skunky. even now in my old age i get ripe pretty quick-like, like more than 2 days past a good shower.

That sounds really nice.
I'm sure you smell delish.
I hate getting my hands wet.
I can't use soap either.
I get really dry skin after a shower.
I need to keep reapplying body cream for an hour to be comfortable.
I'm allergic to lanolin which is in most skin stuff.
I get migraines from anything scented.
It's a pain to find good, unscented products.
Baths are so much more fun.
