Bought a chippy tea for me and the kid because I'm ill and I couldn't be bothered to cook.

I'm just back from a shopping trip to Aldi and Sainsbury's.

From Aldi: bag of 'Mini Pears', two Chicken & Bacon Caesar wraps, 1 dozen Free Range Eggs

From Sainsbury's: 2 x 'Stamford Street' Cottage Pies, 1 x 'Stamford Street' Chicken Curry, tin of peaches, packet of 'Laila' Chilli Powder

Total Cost: £9.66

At Sainsbury's I saw a packet of two 'Lemon and Pepper' Fish, regular price £5.25, Nectar Price £2.50.

If I were a customer who didn't hold a Nectar Card, I'd be feeling a bit aggrieved about that!

No, the 12 Free Ranger box at £2.39

How many eggs do you get for 99p?

At Aldi? I'll have to look out for those. The regular Free Range 6-box is £1.35, I think.

Also, have you tried Sainsbury's 33p tinned peaches? Recommended, and better than Aldi's version.

Technically the last thing I bought was a 4K UHD/BD combo pack of the 1984 movie Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? from Amazon Japan.

I say 'technically' because I ordered it back at the end of November but it was a pre-order (wasn't released until a few days ago in Japan) and Amazon JP doesn't charge for pre-orders until the item has released and is ready to ship.

But if you want something that I ordered and paid for and it wasn't a case of 'I pre-ordered this a few months ago and it only just released and I got charged for it', I bought a trans pride flag, some pride pins, a pride patch, and some pride lanyard/keychain packs.
