well, i'm up to it but you might consider getting a pair of steel-toed shoes so that, when during a dance move i clumsily [accidently] step on your feet [i don't have eyes down there  ], you won't get your teeny toesies bruised. :)

:D I got me some steel toed boots and even a hard hat in case you start embellishing. ;)

In today's America, it's a curse to be born white. We're still paying for the sins of our fathers. Nothing to be proud of, certainly. However, my ancestors never owned slaves, either, and in fact lived as indentured servants, indigenous American tribesmen and Eastern European serfs. Doesn't matter to non-Caucasians. If you're white, you're evil, period, regardless of your history or ancestry. Don't believe me? Watch MSNBC for about an hour. This is world opinion, according to the media.

This.

I'm white and I'm proud of my European heritage, but, contrary to popular belief, that doesn't make me a racist. If you're an honest, upstanding citizen, I don't care what color you are.

I agree. People should be proud of their national heritage, not their skin color. Too bad white people (or mixed race people who "look" white) are so easily dismissed as being racists, though. Actually, if I disagree with Obama, I'm also considered a racist because of that, too. I recall a similar circumstance where such a thing took place not too long ago, where people with different viewpoints were ruined publicly and professionally for speaking out against the establishment. There was a word for it... I believe it was called "McCarthyism."
