Sex In The City. I've never watched that show, and I will never watch it, in a million years.

Anything which the general public cling on to, because they are lead to believe that it makes you cool, or successful or better, if you pledge an allegiance to or for a certain trend, fashion, or way of life. Many of the things people have mentioned fit into that category. Which for the most part is based on consumerism and making us forget about the real issues of the world like poverty, lack of education and just the lack of basic empathy for other human beings. I wish I didn't live in a society where it is so easy to be hypnotized into being a something which suits the agendas of others. Despite what people are lead to believe "being yourself" is not possible in this media controlled world.

Haters seem popular especially on this site; That's one craze I refused to follow. :P

fast food
TV
cars
jetskis
clubs and pubs
pokies
housing estates
theme parks
animal gaols - ie zoos, aquariums and dolphin shows

I never watched it either. I still can't see what's so interesting about it, a bunch of women who use men for sex, but that's what TV comes to these days.

Teenage pregnancy. I'm sorry condoms are easy to use.
Anti Smokers. I like my ciggarette breaks, it gives me sunlight.
Anti Gamers. Psh. I'll never get skin cancer. Lung cancer maybe but nooo skin cancer.
PLLZ WHO TALK LIEK DIS ON FACEBOOK WTF LOL! I'm really sorry but if little chinese kids can learn our language, so can you :)
Tescos. Oh my mortal nemesis. It's more the people. They always bump into me, and I am constantly aware I am being watched.
People who yell at me for swearing. I'm 21! I am allowed to express myself in fancy variations of naughtyness

This one gets a whole new line. People who say "u" instead of "You." I am so sorry but go away. If you cannot type two more letters. Go. Away. <Massive Pet Hate. Even in text messages it's just wrong!

Smarmy people. I never claimed to be the worlds prolific debator. I am rubbish at arguments, I yell a bit. I don't say anything particularly relevant, mostly about what I've done to the object of hates mother in a childish attempt to put them down. But honestly. Stop winning, it's purely these type of people who beat me. I don't like it. It's wrong.

Music. I find music strange. I can only listen to it when moving, as it sets a pace. xD

People who do not reply on MSN or Skype, If I've said something and asked you something, please answer. It drives me nuts.

Baths. What the hell is up with them. I don't want to sit in my own sweat.

Can't think of anything else. Hehe. :)

My dad does this. I've tried explaining to him that most people in the 21st century have gotten over their fear of words, and that he's the only one I've ever met who is bothered by swearing. He's always ranting about things that offend him - swearing, racism, public education, Republicans... Once he even got offended by the Dursleys from Harry Potter, and started ranting angrily about how bigoted they are. They're fictional characters, for crying out loud! He is pretty much the definition of uptight, which is why I never talk to him; I'm sick of having to water down everything I say when he's around.

I really don't like the craze where boys (and even sometimes girls) wear their trousers so that practically all of their boxers are showing. I thought trousers were supposed to be worn around your waist/hips? Oh well I guess I was wrong
There is a boyish girl at my college who does this, she always wears her trousers literally BELOW her arse, she looks like a complete twat.

One of my sisters made me watch it a year ago and Im still trying to recover from the experience,(Every now and then one of the three of us chooses a show and we watch it while we are having dinner. I can go through how I met your mother/the big bang theory reruns(apparently they forget wich episodes they have seen every 3 months or so) but please dont make me watch something like glee or gossip girl again.

One of the few popular things I hate is some gamers who play wow at uni´s library. I understand that some people like playing games, I love doing it every now and then, but is it really neccesary to do it where you are distracting others. Somehow this has become popular at my uni and some people are beginning to wonder if this guys even go to classes since they are there no matter what time you go to the library.

I can't speak for the UK (Chaveland) but here in the US that particular trend reached its height at the end of the 1990s. Fortunately, it's been dwindling away ever since then and I hardly ever see anyone wearing their pants like that anymore. Hopefully people don't decide to get nostalgic for it. One of the worst '90s fashions.

You are rite about the height of the craze being in the late 90s. There was even a a style of pants that had fake underwear at the top so it only looked like the pants are really low so people could still look like that but not have to worry about their pants falling down. I still see gangsters wearing their pants really low but I think that's cuz their pants are waaay to big for em, their not wearing a belt & they have lots of stuff in their pockets(cell phone, wallet, pack of cigs, lighter, drugs, knife, gun all weigh em down) They walk with one hand holding their pants up. I bet they never outrun the cops
