Does everybody in your household speak with this sort of accent?

I have a slight southern accent without the dialect. Although I do say "Ya'll" a lot.

I have a slight-to-moderate NYC accent.

I speak more like Woody Allen than like Robert DeNiro.

I live alone, so it's vacuously true that everybody in my household speaks with the same accent as me.

I got Northeast (north Jersey, New York City, Connecticut or Rhode Island), with Philadelphia and Boston not far behind. For reference, I have a mixed New Zealand/Australian accent, which out of all the US accents sounds closest to a Boston accent to me. So, close enough.

Rhode Islanders speak Boston.

The NYC accent is really confined to a rather small area around NYC—but it extends farther out in Long Island.

I was told many times that I speak with a Cockney accent. I was asked if I was German when I was 11. I was asked if I was Scottish at the age of 10. Someone told me nearly 20 years ago that they could tell that I'm from London.
