Yes,the "t" sound will tighten your embouchure.Otherwise it's just a whoosh or whoop sound.

As a musical term for sure, "the '80s" imply the late '70s and early '90s. You can think of them as tapers of this golden decade.

I habitually do this when I whistle, from back when I played clarinet in middle school. It has made it nearly impossible for me to learn the harmonica, since you're supposed to use your tongue to block off holes =|

are you an inhale whistler or an exhale whistler? many professionals are inhalers, I've read.

The oldest items in my collections are arrowheads, some family photos that are tin type, old trade pipes, civil war cannon ball, some very old bottles, coins,Box camera,a pre-civil war violin made in Mittewald Germany, and stamps.Of course the rock collection is oldest of all.

Allied Radio. One of the better US entertainment manufacturers before they were bought out by Rat Sh!t.

Both. Either I'm trying to keep my breath going, or finding the easiest way to hit a note, or just alternating for the heck of it.

I personally think whistling is annoying though, but it's almost like a stim where I can't help it (if I'm not singing). So I either do it "muted", or I do it at work where I like to think that no one can hear it over the machines.

I should get some more tapes, but the last time I looked (at a thrift), they didn't have anything good.

I got a "new" car last year and haven't swapped out the stereo yet, and had fun going through a bunch of my old tapes. Some of them don't sound as bad as I remember, but a lot of them really do sound awful. I used to listen to music obsessively as a kid, so a lot of tapes are a bit faded now, or warble, or some of the more unfortunate ones have been eaten a time or two. It took me a long time to get used to hearing some of my favorite songs in digital format, because I would expect those little dropouts and other anomalies, and they just weren't there.

I would love to try recording some of my own music to tape some time, just for the fun of it, but it's so much less work to just record everything digitally  ...plus, I'm not sure I even have a decent deck to do it with.

I can make a lot of different noises with my mouth, but I don't think anyone would be interested in hearing it.

Maybe if I turned it into beatboxing, but that doesn't interest me.
