I know, right? :)

Even though I was an awful game player, I enjoyed playing this game.

As many others have said already, things were simpler back then.

Example: Cell phones were the size of bricks!

Another fun computer game I remember from my childhood was Math Munchers. :D

I don't recall any game by that title. What particular time was it popular during the 1990s?

:?

I had to google it, apparently it too came out during the 80's but I remember as a kid in the 90's playing this on the old PCs we had in our classroom.

When boyish girls were called tomboys and girly boys were called sensitive. Nowadays, it's all gender-neutral propaganda that basically gets encouraged by the parents these days to "be who you want to be". Well, I want to be NT and I'm really unhappy with this AS brain but I can't get rid of this s**t so...

At least I'm not being called a fa***t anymore or being told that I keep mouth ulcers from sucking dick. That's one good thing I can say about the 2000's is that I no longer feel as threatened for being gay by homophobes and religious fundies who tell me that "they used to kill people like you in the old days!".

But of course Trump and his cult of idiots screaming "f**k your feelings!" Might change this when they bring the sodomy laws back.

I'm not against gays though. I'm glad people can come out these days without feeling ashamed of their sexuality. But there will always be homophobes, unfortunately.

That's true and I think everyone who is a minority has to fight for their right to exist and it's a neverending battle. This includes gays/transgenders, women, non-Christians, and people of color. As well as the disabled.

Sometimes the battle is taken too far I admit but history shows that when the oppressed don't stand up for themselves things tend to escalate a lot worst for them.

I still find it amazing that there WERE PC's in the classroom.....

Back when I went to school, even our report cards were either typed (if you're lucky enough to go to a private school), or written in different color pens (red pen was for failure).

I learned to type on a manual Olivetti typewriter.

I remember taking typing class when they were teaching us how to properly type on a keyboard. My teacher was amazed at the super fast way I could type everything using only my pointer finger on my right hand. I never could type properly using both hands.

Things like portable TVs seemed really cool. Now, you take it for granted.

TVs were all analog then—but the picture was always good. Certainly better than it was in the 70s.

Still heavy and bulky.

Looked it up. 1971 was it's release date.

I miss when TV shows were on a certain night of the week, at a certain time, and that's the only way you could see them.

Today people stream everything or they have it on demand.

Sure, it's convenient, but I liked the anticipation of having to wait for the night of my favourite show, or having to rearrange my schedule to see it.

It was also nice when everyone at work would talk about the same episodes, the next day.

I miss being able to organize a "game night" among my friends and having them show up in person.

They had 'computer games' prior to Pong (circa 1979)?

No way!
