I thought they were called Sangheili, mostly called elite as coined by humans, they come from the planet Sangheilious, and known for there war prowers. I also like the Lekgolo, also coined Hunters by humans, it is a very unmatching name for them, they are infact a string of worms that join together to multiply there strength and there inteligence. One of the interesting things about them is that they have been seen being totaly barbaric one second in battle then the next quoting poetry. Oh and the flood, the secret to them is a super cell that can act ass both a muscle and as part of a brain, they can turn bodies of victems into part of a combined consciousness, Yes I am a Halo nerd. Also away from Halo I like the Xenomorph and the Yautja or as commonly called Alien and Predator, just for the way xenomorphs do things, and I am a big fan of the iner workings of the Yautja. Also I kind of like the Geth from Mass Effect, they are AI that alone are quite bad, but when they are near each other they then creat a kind combined inteligence, and they have some near organic versions aswell.

Oddly, I did a "which star trek species are you" quiz at one point - turns out I have a lot in common with the Romulans - I could see it, thats the scary thing.

Another test said I had a lot in common with the Borg.

Anyway, back to the topic -- I always thought the Andorians were cool (trekkers will get that pun). Loved their blue skin and (on Enterprise) the way they expressed themselves with their martian-like antennae. :lol:

Well I didnt say that I hate them, I do remember that they realy freaked me out when I first played, but in school I once managed to fit the Flood in as part of an assignment. Now to show what I now, the Geth can be looked at as a bunch of seperate not to bright computers, but when near each other they kind of link up and have like a shared server, the Geth are machines so the learn like machines. But on the other hand the Flood go through phases, in the begining they are in what is called the feral stage where they generaly have little inteligence and just will get hosts, this is done by sinking brainwaves and entering the body. The flood have different choices of what to do, it can turn the dead into combat forms which generaly keep the body alive to have acces to the mind though if damage occurs often it will get turned into carrier to multiply. But if a prey is either unaccepteble as a host or could be seen as having useful information it will then be used to build whith creating staches of calcium or becomeing part of a Gravemind or Brainform. The gravemind will be made up of the combined inteligence of what is added and the Gravemind then becomes a central hub for all the flood by a means of what could be thought as hormones and psychic telapathy with unkown distance. The stages include going from organised, to spacial, stellar and it is thought that they could go to intergalactic.

See I do like them, otherwise I wouldnt know this much about them.

7h3 Seroni PWN @||!

Quote:
The séroni (singular sorn; the plural is sometimes given as sorns) are thin, fifteen-foot-high humanoids having coats of pale feathers and seven-fingered hands.[1] They live in mountain caves of the high country (harandra in the speech of the eldila), though they often descend into the handramit where they raise giraffe-like livestock. They are the scholars and thinkers of Malacandra, specializing in science and abstract learning. Their technical level is high, and they design machinery, which is built by the pfifltriggi. Although they can write they do not compose written works of history or fiction as they feel the hrossa are superior at it.
