Thinking about it, animals with tentacles don't exactly make me feel warm and squishy inside. Octopuses are fascinating animals because of their intelligence and ability to manipulate stuff and change colour, but I definitely wouldn't want one of them wrapping their arms around my wrist...

I don't know why, but if they touch me with any of those three, I just freak out. It's really terrifying to the point where I make sure to wear long pants and sleeves and closed shoes so if they accidently touch me, it won't be on the skin.
I also don't like bugs, espeacially crickets. They completely freak me out, dead or alive. I'd rather have a dog than be in the same rom as a dead cricket. I'm not sure why, it could be becasue they are black, but i kind of doubt it. It could all just be in my head for all I know. -PowerGirl

i have a dog i might post some picures!!

Hornets freak me out. I've never been bitten by one but have been bitten by wasps (usually my fault though). Hornets seem like big wasps and buzz fiercely around the place. I get freaked out when they almost seem to dive bomb my head and wonder if they can see very well.

anteaters, especially of the giant variety. if I ever saw one in my room, standing on it's two feet, I'd grind my teeth and scream, "WTF IS WRONG WITH THAT THING!"

The mental image that that last sentence produced made me laugh out loud.

Hornets and wasps don't bite, they sting. :P

Myself, I am mortally afraid of caterpillars, especially the giant ones that attack me when I am having a breakdown. Although recently they have begun to talk to me in soft voices and tell me not to be afraid. 8O

Butterflies (when they're flying around near me), grasshoppers, squid, earwigs, centipedes, worms..

I see earwigs all the time for some reason. Seriously, it can get out of hand. One night I was typing at my computer and an earwig suddenly crawled out of they KEYBOARD... and it touched my finger.. then it crawled around for a bit and went back in. I finally caught it the next day and trapped it under a glass and had my mom escort it outside.
At least I think it was an earwig-- they were about a centimeter long and looked like this:

Gahh.. now I'm paranoid and keep imagining crawly feelings all over me.

Earwigs are so annoying. They seem to hide in damp things.
