This is no place for that. Take it elsewhere. I would recommend a radical fringe left-wing news site.

She's a celebrity. She has money so she can take care of her baby.
They tend to do anything they want (if you know what I mean).

The thing is, she is not legal yet, and already pregnant? now that would disrupt male fantasies towards an 18 year old who already has a child for not being that innocent :P Not good for publicity.

Do we have to care? no, I like to choose celebrities which don't get into any scandal and any BS like this.

Has anyone thought that maybe she wanted to have the baby? If you are in a family like that, forced into celebrity since a child, perhaps the only way she could find any way to assert herself was to become pregnant - knowing that things would irrevocably change. Perhaps this was her idea of 'escape.' She wouldn't be the first girl to think so.
There are lots of girls that want babies, and have babies, because they want them. The terms 'babymomma' and 'babydaddy' is a case in point. They have their own reasons for getting pregnant, no matter how 'dumn' it seems to others.

well, one could think that she could have been tired of her show and decided to get pregnant to break the contract, that would be a speculation, but a possibility, however whatever the reasons are for getting pregnant, the one most affected by it, is the baby, then we should ask here what are the "right" reasons and the "wrong" reasons.

The problem most people see here when it comes to celebrities is about their irresponsable behaviour, just see Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, that is what I mean, Britney Spears isn't the exception, that is why this incident can pretty much be considered like a typical spoiled celebrity being irresponsable.

She and her mother pimped the story out, so they get what they get.

I admit I don't care much about this, except I was highly amused by the comment a newcaster made about Jamie Lynn and her 18 year old "baby daddy" meeting in church. Now, I live in the Bible Belt and I KNOW what those Southern Baptists think about pre-martial sex, especially when it's teenagers doing it. I guess this wouldn't be the first there there was a small disconnect between what they think and what they do.

Before I became Lutheran in 2002, I had attended various Baptist and Pentecostal churches, and there were pregnant, unwed young women at those churches. I think it's just the impetuousness of youth.

I agree. My mom had my brother when she was 16, but since she's petite she was able to skate through it without anyone else knowing by wearing bulky sweaters. She had help from my dad, but I think it would have been an even greater burden if it had been announced all over the world. Hyprocrites the friggin lot of you. I doubt very seriously that half of you gave a damn about teen pregnancy before, and will continue not to care when this fades from the spotlight. You know why magazines pay a million dollars for a baby picture? So you holier than thou perfect human beings can have something to b**** and moan about.

To me the popularity of this thread shows the commonality between any troubled girl and young woman. Just because they are 'celebrities' does not mean they can hold back the ocean's tides, or that their 'celebrity' releases them from being human in the world.
Can they do better than they were raised? I feel they can only do as well as they have been raised to do. Their problems are the same as any other 16 year old girl that finds her self pregnant whether she wants the experience or not. That remains the same, no matter what degree of celebrity, money, or fame you have!

To those of us that have been more than familiar with how this happens and the consequences that reverberate over the years can talk about it with out being the one so scutinized. That alone is worth the chance to discuss it and not be directly involved.

*groans loudly*

I thought Wrong Planet was the one place in America where celebrities would not be a topic of discussion. :shameonyou:
