I can do it in about 10 minutes but I need a screwdriver. There is one square, which can be lifted and there is a screw in there, unscrew it and it all comes undone. Re-assemble the correct way and hey presto!

Actually, you can take them apart without a screwdriver. I do it once a week, so I can lube the cube. Nothing worse than a good cube that won't spin right.

Did any one get one of the flat rubix puzzls that you had to fold to make the circles line up?

Never solved one - mind, I only tried when I was little. Had (or still have) a round Sonic puzzle based on the same principal.

I worked on one for two months and eventually solved it. I would just randomly pick it up when I was bored and try to solve it slowly.

Now I don't know where I put it last.

Thank you I could not remember what it was called got rid of mine as soon as I could solve it in 7 seconds wanted to get a new one. Type in rubix on a search and you only find cubes and balls.

I had one of those. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the challenge being to manipulate the device until the three rings were interconnected, and then return them to their original separated state.

All you have to do is turn the top side so the corners are protruding. Then it's easy to just pry one of the edge cubies up with your thumb. The rest comes apart easily.

I know someone at my school who can solve a Rubik's Cube in about 15 seconds.
