I've seen a lot of people on these boards mention a fascination with serial killers, or the Holocaust. I thnik it's due to our (usually) rather timid nature. I've read books about serial killers and I just couldn't get over how a human being could be so deranged. The same with the Nazis, I've watched movies about the death camps, and been moved to tears. Perhaps it's due to the fact that almost all of us have been bullied and physically set upon. There's a dark side of us that would take revenge for those hurts. But I encourage to stay as far as possible from going into that dark shadow. Do not become obssessed with this sort of morbidity.

It's far too late! I'm doomed! Doomed to a life of pure evil! Evil! Evil!

Your discussion is very disturbing.

Let me lay this out for you bluntly:

Killing in anything other than defence of your own life is wrong. And no matter how well you try to cover things up, the police will find you, hunt you down, and when they do catch a serial killer, I would be pretty sure that they don't want to be too gentle with them.

So don't do it.

Find something better to channel your singularity of focus.

you seem like a constant attention seeker. whatever anybody says here you just keep on ranting about killing and all that kind of crap. is that making you feel less lonely? if it doesn't, than killing and getting "media attention" is not going to do much difference either...

why don't you show us some statistics before you make such statement.

The wink indicated that I was being disingenuous. : ) I don't agree that killing is right, please don't think I do...

I am simply fascinated by the killer mentality, like tdgkf is.

One of my ideas was to know what drives them to know how to stop them, like looking up a dangerous animal.

I agree, but I would imagine it feels good for a short period of time and then you realize you're going to prison and will soon die of lethal injection...

Unless you're the Zodiac, or Jack the Ripper, or one of a select few others.

The Zodiac was a genius. Yes, he was a sick, depraved individual but he was a genius. Give the man credit.
