Yeah, me too. That is probably the biggest thing that distresses neighbors and annoys family when I visit them--that I can see in the dark well enough that I hardly ever turn on lights in the evening.

Wettest. April. Ever. Too much rain in too short a timeframe.

i am currently thinking about a flaw in my psychiatric appraisal of identical circumstances in differing environments.

specifically, i am thinking about milk. the freshest milk possible will have a use by date about 14 days after it is bottled (or cartoned).
while i find it acceptable to drink a carton of chocolate milk that i buy from a shop that is only 4 days (no less) before it's use by date, that equates to me buying the milk at it's freshest, and then storing it in my fridge for 10 days, and then choosing to drink it. blerrrgh.
i would never drink milk that i put in the fridge 11 days ago, but i seem to be able to trust the integrity of milk that is sold by takeaway shops with my burger.

You sound like someone who might understand why it troubles me that people celebrate "the New Year" at midnight instead of six hours later (since there are 365-1/4 days in a year).

but non leap years have a procession of approximately six hours every year, and so in the second year after a leap year, the year would start 12 hours after common chronological observation indicates.

well strange looks can be priceless. a furrowed brow that shows it's self during cognitive petrification of other peoples "understanding" reveals that every one in history had the ability to pull faces.

people can never win me because i am not a prize.

Scheduled my second psychiatrist visit, this time with an ASD expert, to get officially diagnosed with AS or whatever I have. August 9th.
These days have not been my best.

Not done anything today yet, and really don't plan to because I've not got the energy

When someone says anything about "going too far into the weeds," that means basically overwhelming them with detailed explanations of something that is probably way over their head anyway.
