today i drank milk- fresh milk, not long life or reallly old soy milk that happens to be in the fridge when i get there. i havent had any in weeks.
crispy creme donuts and zionists were selling apartheid cupcakes for israeli peace week and a couple of people hassled them. its like you dont even support bds, you rip down palestine solidarity posters and how can you be selling cupcakes when there are about 2000 hunger strikers in administrative detention... it was fun to watch.

and yesterday i went to my first may day rally. there were so many socialsits, well "socialists"(stalinists really), and unionists. i kinda feel a little in awe of those from the firefighters union or the maritime union or construction, forestry, mining and energy union.
we also had a post rally meeting which was the launch of the baiada strike pamphlet and it went well. people on the left, some around us some not, came and syndicalists came- we dont usually get anarchists to our things and a couple of right wingers came which was amusing. the speaker was a guy from the picket line who was a union delegate at the factory. the story of the strike is inspiring.
bumped into youthgroup people.

also for the last few days one of my housemates has been talking to me a lot. its interesting hearing about her life and about the queer community in china. i think she just needs somebody to talk to because in china she had nobody to talk to about stuff like that.

The nice weather for the last couple of days. Broke the 80's. It's an all time high for this year.

Makes me want to go for a walk. :D

My dye experiments worked (a hat and shirt that I didn't like the color of and so dyed them another). Trying to see now if I can find some cheap white shirts for some more artsy experiments.

today i got ginger pop from iga and i was 5cents short and only realised this at the till but the cashier was like just give me what you have and she let me go which was nice of her. so thank you lady.
i think i almost convinced someone to come to the same sex marriage rally this saturday. he is young and shy and is very hesitant to go along but his intial reaction before he realised there were going to be people there was keen. also he is new to queer youth group so he doesnt know anybody apart from me and one other guy so he cant exactly find the youth group people that always go to these things if he doesnt know them.
i also went exploring in newtown. its always fun to do but especially at night when its dark and the back streets are quiet and deserted and you can slip through the narrow lane ways unseen and the shadows are beautiful and greenery grows overhead and there are clearings through which you can peer at the sky.
