I love the Start screen on Windows 8, with the Mail and News and other tiles updating in real-time.

It's just a shame that everything else about it is so infuriatingly unintuitive.

Something I thought long and hard about .. over the past few weeks, I've been really depressed about my living situation, how my life is... being autistic (I'm medium functioning autistic, not aspie) that I was thinking how my life is and what I can do to improve it .. I stay in my room 23 hours a day, and it's got to the point where I can't stay living the way I do anymore. I signed my rights away to the state, and I pray that they put me into a home. I hope that I'm placed in a home, and taught how to function more properly.. integrate back into society fully, given tools and connections needed to better myself, and full employment. I think I'll be placed with other autistics .. but I think it'll be fine. I'm going to try my very best to succeed and with help, become a better person.. hopefully I can become independent and be as normal as possible..

The reason that I wasn't here yesterday is because I was at the March for Life with my friend in Victoria BC yesterday. I had a very good time. :D

Thanks - I have no support net what so ever .. family, or friends besides acquaintances .. so it's tough, but a decision I made. I hope it goes smoothly.. I'm complaint and optimistic. I'd just love normalcy.

I'm thinking of doing a picture when I can be bothered, but it might be seen as inappropriate. Not for the obvious reason, just cause it may be a bit violent...

I watched my dad win grade 4 district pennants today (lawn bowls that is).

Reminded me of the reason I've never wanted to play it more than casually. The bloody pressure and stress to win (and the bitchy middle aged WAG's green side). What happened to doing it for fun?

Why does the PlayStation 3 system update take forever when I do it through the system, but not long at all when I download it to a memory stick on my computer and put that in the system?
