I must get new tyres soon. As in, I'm pricing some on Monday (25% of Dunlops at Beaurepaires or 4 for the price of 3 Bridgestones at Jax, hmm).

person 1 (relates his most memorable moment) : (etc...etc). heh heh heh yeah, and that was my most memorable moment. what was yours?

person 2: oh without doubt, my most memorable moment happened on october the 9th, 1997! it was amazing! i was .......hang on......maybe it was october the tenth......hmmmm. blast!! i can't remember whether it was the 9th or the 10th. ..... let me think....what did i do on the 9th? (rubs chin in intense reflection)...damn!! ! now i am stumped.

person 1: it doesn't matter about the exact date. what happened?

person 2: obviously the date does matter.

person 1: it doesn't matter whether it happened on the 9th or the 10th! why does it matter to you?!?

person 2: because what happened on the 10th was obviously different than what happened on the 9th. derrr??!?!?

person 1: who cares which date it was!? just tell your bloody story!!

person 2: i care which date it was because i do not want to choose the wrong date to talk about because if i talk about that date, i will fail to communicate my most memorable moment which happened on either the 9th or 10th of ock-bloody-tober, 1997.

person 1: yeah...good luck with that one. (gets up to leave)

person 2: yes. i'll get back to you once i have remembered the date of the day containing the incident that i wish to describe as being my most memorable moment. until then, have a great time.

person 1: man....you're a freak!

person 2: oh dear. and you're someone who never got to learn my most memorable moment.
