I got a flokai rug today. It may not be made of wool by the Vlachs in the Pindus mountains but even though it's a non-wool made in China knock-off I'm still glad to have it.

Now I have two out of three things that I always wanted that I used to see in the Fingerhut catalogs. Those three things were a flokati rug, a wall mural that you glue on your wall that covers the whole wall (there was one in my new place when I moved in), and the one I don't have is the coffee table that is all glass and is a fish tank.

Not today, but yesterday was sunny and hot 80F/30C. Ate lunch under a pair of plum trees and then played chase-the-weed with the cat. Very serene day.
