only a skelatal framework for this dream remains after getting distracted upon awakening. what i do remember involves a double-feature, starting with the first dream which was about me being on a reality tv program involving unwitting sociopaths who were fooled into believing they could rip people off in a department store over a period of a few days, when everybody was in on their pseudoscam from day one. when they were confronted with videotaped evidence of their perfidy, the first sociopath [a reddish-complected man with red hair and wearing reddish clothing] reacted with thinkly veiled anger and vague denials, which he thought were invisible under a facade of hip cool. the man was taunted by one customer with cutting comments about the man's over-inflated view of his own intelligence as well as his arrogant insistence that he did nothing wrong despite the blatant evidence- the customer said to him, "quit peeing on all our legs then telling us it's only raining!" the man turned red-angry and was about to go medieval when he was "evaporated" and replaced with a blonde zaftig woman sociopath who was dressed in shades of all-blue, who was allowed to do her thing for a few days while being recorded with a hidden camera, then when she was presented with the evidence of her misbehavior, she broke down and cried, screamed that it wasn't her, quivered and shook and turned all sorts of weird colors.
then the dream segued into another one in which i was a houseguest [barely above a squatter] among a bunch of bohemian types, and one day we decided to pile into the jalopy and head to the local high school that was having a reunion of sorts, even though we didn't graduate from this school we decided to crash the party, so to speak. after it was over [among the details lost when i was distracted], i was waiting in front in the bus pick-up lanes for the rest of my housemates to come meet me at the agreed-upon meet-up point, but they were nowhere to be found. then i saw this young girl with long blond hair wearing red sweater and red trousers, she was riding on a red 3-wheeled bicycle with a red trailer cart on the back, so for some reason i hopped on board the cart and off we went, the girl peddling down through a series of winding suburban lanes until we arrived at her house, and in her driveway she got off the bike, looked back at me with an expression which said "who the hell are YOU?!" then ran into the house while her father glared at me uncomfortably. i got the hint and got the hell out of there, laboriously trudging back the mile or so back to the high school, each step an ass-dragging ordeal.
upon arrival back at the school, it was mostly deserted 'cept for a few stragglers with no place to go. i thought to myself, "damn, they left me behind!" in the background, there was a song playing someplace, it was The Cars' "drive" ["who's gonna drive you home tonight"]. then i awoke.
