Why the NHS app I'm registered with suddenly won't let me order repeat prescriptions online and won't give a reason, even though I could do it before.

People who wait seven months sometimes, and one minute others.

People who can eat baguettes, rolls, and sandwiches crammed with filling without the filling oozing out everywhere. Sometimes even on your clothes.

I wonder if they use a spoon because it's so little. Often it only takes a teeny tiny variable to make me ill or collapse i.e. a spoon. I dunno.

I'm on disability benefits, my daughter is on disability benefits, and we still need to pay $500/month out of pocket for private insurance for the two of us, for things which aren't covered on the government plan: most importantly medication. My daughter's meds alone exceed $500 / month. We also get access to psychologists although it's never full coverage. They're not covered at all by the government. I go into debt every month to pay for this insurance but I have no alternative. It doesn't seem fair that disabled people aren't automatically covered for anything special.

Yes indeed, it's not fair. And this system is coming to Britain soon. I can't believe how stupid and shortsighted Brits are not to see what's happening.

I'd have thought that after the covid pandemic the government would actually see for themselves how much so many people rely on the NHS and how wonderful the NHS was to so many people through the scary time.

This is why I vote labour at every election.

This is because the Tory government doesn't care about us. They do not care. Therese Coffey has said "it’s not government’s job to help out food banks" "DWP has no legal duty to safeguard the wellbeing of vulnerable claimants" "it's not the role of government to provide free food or to intervene in markets." Boris Johnson has said “I’ve given you the most important metric - never mind life expectancy, never mind cancer outcomes - look at wage growth."

They are interested in money and getting as rich as they can. They want to run down the NHS so everyone blames them for being inefficient, then they will introduce private, insurance based healthcare. Lots of Americans have begged me to warn people off that and save the NHS system.

But it seems the government are determined to do this. What will happen to low income people I do not know- they won't be able to afford healthcare. My family is hardly well off either so it's only a matter of time for us!

I never used to be interested in politics but since Brexit I've watched in horror the way Britain is going and tried to spread the word to fight all these changes like running down the NHS.

Well I'll just commit suicide then. I can't live a life where I can't even afford a visit to the doctor.

I think it is an NT thing but I often find that it's only when I have an argument or difference of opinion with some people that they start to like me. If I'm polite, friendly, kind, some people don't take any notice of me or are even dismissive and rude. Yet when I disagree with them or confront them, they suddenly start liking me.

I can't understand that, it seems topsy turvy to me. :?

I'm sure the government would be very happy if we all did that, so they wouldn't have to bother taking care of us. I'm sure that's their aim.

"Let the bodies pile high" as Boris Johnson said. :x

I don't get how people can be supportive of LGBT and be all for national healthcare but then support or vote for the people who are against these things and want to take away things for these people and take away national healthcare and make it more private.

I don't get why anyone who isn't a moral degenerate would still want to vote for the Tories, given how increasingly self serving, intellectually and morally bankrupt they are It's been in power for over a decade and still blames Labour for everything. It refuses to take responsibility for anything, and has driven a coach and horses through the mindless claim of being the 'economically competent' party.

I totally agree with you about the Tories and people voting for them and their policies. How can Labour possibly be still to blame after they haven't been in government for 12 years? They haven't had any power to do anything for 12 YEARS. It's all been done by the Tories.

I can only imagine people are voting Tory because it somehow helps them financially. Or they are just horrible people who want to hurt others.

Why most of the most relevant meme Facebook pages to you are hard to find because they have very strange titles. For example, if I wanted to search for memes about ADHD or RSD I will only find very limited results, usually of inactive pages. The real active pages with the best memes that get posted every day are usually titled something really random like "I prefer round tables to square tables" or "I like daisies". So they're like impossible to find unless someone else posts something on your feed from these pages. That's the only way I find them.
