I had one light beer and then I came home about 11pm.

The 300 is still on a ship somewhere AFAIK. I can't figure out whether it will land in Botany or Port Kembla.

i had an interest in getting either a ford (LTD) or a holden (statesman) or a chrysler (300c), and i could not find many chryslers so i deduced they would be expensive to maintain since parts were rare.

i read the reviews and the chrysler was quite well spoken of (ride quality and refinement and power), but it was not far away from the statesman in desirability, and there is no such thing as an LTD any more since about 1999 or something, so i got a statesman.
i once bought a mercedes 500 sel from hong kong and it was not very good (not the blue 560 i have posted videos of) because there was all manner of trickery at every step of the way. the steering i was never happy with.

i know the chrysler 300 has a modern version of the old valiant charger 360 cid engine.
remember chargers? maybe you are tooo young.
they came in the slovenly 215 hemi, and the mildly awake 245 and the rather sprightly 265 six cylinder varieties, and in the V8 range they had a 340 and a 360 V8. the 340 V8 was lauded as being spectacular in performance over the 360, and the 360 was considered poorly as a match to the ford 351 and holden had no answer with only 308's.

but 360 is bigger than 340 and whatever the reason for the 340's popularity, i think it would have been ironed out with technology.

anyway i hope you get your car in excellent condition.
i did post once a short video of a lap in a video game called forza 4 where i drove a chrysler 300 (with my steering wheel and accelerator) and i was mildly disappointed with the performance but it was just a video game (albeit that claims to be faithful to reality).
i would very much like to encounter a hot head in a 300 next to me at the lights before a stretch of mildly winding road and see how hard it is to either keep with or vanquish.
i do not wish for a reply because i am not expecting to be bothered with the obligation of a further contribution to this thread, but here is a virtual test of the 300
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzpK7juBFrY

and it is 12:55 am
