Panic off, I've found it. I was getting confused between threads. Silly me.

Another moment in the series: "Funny Moments During My Orchestral Rehearsals"

I do something stupid; I can't remember what.
Me: (to myself) "Idiot."
Other clarinettist: "What?" *looks confused*
Me: "I was talking to myself, not you."
Him: "Oh, well you call me that so often, so I got confused."

I don't call him that all that often, and I haven't started using it as a term of address just yet. :P

I find Wimbledon to be rather a civilized occasion. Though I wouldn't go myself mind.

My sister told me yesterday she believed 9/11 and the Boston bombings had been an US government ploy to control its citizens and gain more power. Although I called her a conspiracy nutjob in her face for mutual laughs, now I have no choice but to take those theories a tiny bit more seriously :o

There's a giant moth flying around my room and smacking into everything. Moths are so dumb.

They freak me out. They sometimes leave marks on the wall etc with their powder, which I find very yucky.

I took my Labrador to the vet today to get his nails trimmed. It didn't go the way I wanted it to.

Firstly, the lady there wouldn't do it without sedating my dog, because he has a reputation of trying to bite the person working with him. Second, he didn't get knocked out after he received his first dose, which was 50ml. Third, he still wasn't knocked out after a second dose.

So he was on a maximum dose of sedatives, and we still had to muzzle him and hold him down. It ended up taking three hours just to get something that should have taken ten minutes done. :lmao:

At least they discounted it for me.

I went to someone's house two days ago. I was offered a drink in a really dirty-looking mug. There was no way I could drink it. So I waited for the moment when I was alone in the room. As soon as I got the opportunity, I quickly ran to the kitchen and emptied the mug at the sink. I successfully made it seem that I had finished the drink. I felt a bit guilty about it, but I had no choice. I certainly declined the offer of another drink.
