i have been thinking about why there are so few fights between ducks.
i have concluded that ducks have no ability to show facial expressions.
an angry duck looks the same as a happy duck, and so all the other ducks would have no idea that an angry duck is angry, and they would not escalate the situation by responding in a hostile manner to the facial expressions of an angry duck.

I don't know how anyone else feels but I've got a right hunger on today.

I am typing this from a library. Right now, there is an event in the area of Portland
where I live called Sunday Parkways. It's popular mostly with cyclists and joggers, though I'm OK with it. The library is along the route and it's a good thing an eatery is next door because I am hungry.
