I suppose, embarrassingly, Holden Caulfield. Embarrassingly because I identified with him when I was his age, 16, and I still do, so I guess I haven't grown up much.

I'm still wandering around, intelligent and privileged but so far unable (unwilling?) to make those things work for me in any useful way. Observing humanity around me and feeling alternately mystified and disappointed. Utterly disconnected and discouraged and kind of hating myself for being such a sap.

There we go.

You're in town for the day. Where will I find you?

In a restaurant that serves a meat dish of some variety.

Have you ever had to have treated, dental cavities, say, with a restorative 'filling'?

Yes.

I've had lots of root canals too.
I love those things.

How long since you washed your bedclothes?

I have fresh bed clothes as of... today. Before that they had been on a little over a week.

Do you like the sensory feel of sand on your bare feet?

Yes and no; for starters the sand can't be too hot. Assuming I'm at a beach, when I walk onto dry sand with dry feet it's fine, if I then walk down to the water and I have wet feet on wet sand it's fine, but walking back through the dry sand with wet feet it gets stuck in between my toes and on op of my feet which I don't like. I then have to rinse and dry them thoroughly before being able to comfortably put footwear on again.

Do you have allergies?

Not like anaphylaxis inducing allergies. My nose is very sensitive to things like dust, pollen, smoke and it gets much worse when I eat a lot of acidic stuff like tomatoes. It's miserable and makes me feel really rough but it's not life threatening or anything.

What's the worst thing that's ever bitten you?

Would either have been a green ant or meat ant, both vicious little stingy b@$tards found in Australia.

What's the most interesting thing you've eaten?

It will be ridiculously hot, everything will be baking

But no, I won't be baking any food. Hopefully getting baked though...

How will you avoid overstimulation on Christmas day?

Is isn't too overwhelming since it's just me and her and the kid. But I usually spend most of the morning cooking then I eat myself into a coma.

How big is your television?

I use a small television due to visual over-stimulation issues/sensory overload.

Mine is 19 inch.

Same question.
