Christmas meats - I'm a vegetarian.

How do you usually celebrate on New Year's Eve?

It's my anniversary with my partner.
We met on the 23rd but our first date was the 31st.
This will be four years.
Amazing we survived 2023.

We spend it together at his.

Prior to meeting him I did nothing.
I just stayed home and went to bed like normal.

Nothing much, I just have a few alcoholic drinks, which is more than usual as I don't drink alcohol very often. I sometimes watch the Jools Holland NYE countdown/show.

Same question.

Generally I don't do anything. Even on the millennium I stayed in. I did go to a party one year and did cocaine for the first and only time. I don't think it could have been cocaine really, I didn't feel much of anything. I left the party and walked to the beach.

Have you ever donned any gay apparel?

If I have to go out for a special occasion I’ll get dressed up, otherwise I just wear my usual shirt and shorts.

What is the best or worst amusement park ride you have been on?

The best/worst amusement park ride I have been on would probably be 'The Smiler' at Alton Towers. I'm not sure it is still there, but someone lost their leg on it and when I was on it, the amount of loops was dizzying.

I was glad to get off of it when it ended.

Edit:

Here it is, POV.

Best and worst: Thunder River Rapids,Dreaworld, Gold Coast Australia. A fairly tame ride that resulted in the gruesome deaths of four people.

When I was a kid I'd occasionally be taken to Thorpe Park where they had a ride called Phantom Phantasia which I absolutely loved. It was a dark ride, lots of blacklight and you sat in these weird shell carriages and they took you past scenes of mild horror, all automatons. Ones I can remember include a baker making a pie and there was a finger sticking out of the pie wriggling, someone being nailed into a coffin alive and they kept pushing the lid up, there was an entire ballroom where everyone dancing was a skeleton. I hated roller coasters and most rides but I loved that one. It burned down in the early 90s sadly.

Do you ever swim in the sea?

I also love Peter Pan's Wild Ride, It's a Small World, and the Haunted Mansion at Disney.

Do you prefer coasters or spinning rides?

Coasters.

Spinning rides I find are worse than the speed of coasters. It's all of the... spinning. 8O

I prefer a coaster with a gin & tonic on it.
Do you tend to keep things like airplane/train/concert tickets?

No, I never have done that. I don't particularly like clutter. I collect other things like DVD's however, that can be used, rather than a keepsake or a memory such as the above.

Do you like cinnamon?

Cinnamon is ok.
I'd prefer it in a masala for curry or something like that instead of a sweet dish.
