Amongst other things I got my daughter's Galaxy Easter egg this morning

I think it was 4.50 or something in Aldi and it's about 6 quid in Sainsbury's so there's a saving

It's a whopper too

I bought a Barbie Cutie Reveal doll. That's a Barbie that comes in a tube and is dressed in a mascot-type animal costume. The one I bought is dressed like a bunny. When I was checking out at the store the cashier asked me if I had any small children when she saw the doll. I admitted that no I didn't and I was buying it for myself, and asked "Embarrassing, right?" I couldn't tell if she she thought it was or not. Then she said the reason she asked was because they were having a coloring contest for kids. I sort of jokingly told her, "I'm too old for that, too. But to enjoy being an adult you have to be like a kid once in a while".

I might have been joking around, but it does bug me when people assume I'm buying a toy for a kid and worry they'll think I'm weird if I say its for myself, even though lots of adults have huge collections of Barbie dolls... and other adults usually think that's weird.

Also I'll bet the Cutie Reveal dolls are a hit with the Furry community, which is not just weird but incredibly despised.

I just went for it and forked out for some prescription sunglasses
To be honest I only went in to enquire but I walked out having purchased two pairs on the bogof

140 quid in the end

I got a pair of sports ones with interchangeable colour lenses and you can remove the prescription part and wear them as normal sunglasses but why would I want to do that

And I also got a nice pair to just wear as normal and they've got rose coloured lenses and uva protection

Both with varifocals so it's not bad really

I defo need them anyway

It's gone back down to £16.99 for a 70cl bottle from the local shop so not too bad.
