I have a new favourite shop at Chermside. It's a Japanese bargain shop and it sells cute things, but most of all it sells origami paper. Fully legit origami paper.

Is it in the shop where Borders used to be? I can't remember.

are "wild" horses any stronger than "tame" horses?
let me think..

maybe if i was tethered to a "wild" horse by another group of humans who were restraining the frantic horse, and then they let it go immediately after they had tethered me to it,, i would be dragged with more impetus than i would be dragged by a domestic horse who, being comfortable around humans, would see the tethering process as nothing more than a curiosity, rather than some sort of combined attack.


who initiated the phrase "wild horses could not drag me away"?
does anyone know? i would think not. to think that some long dead person's spontaneous exclamatory remark would eventually become a buzz phrase used (when appropriate (no matter how seldom)) and understood by more than 90% of english speakers (no citations... just ball park speculation) is quite staggering.

will there ever be released a full sequel to the telephone book? every telephone book i read year after year has few changes, and i am left wanting more.

Oh yes, I forgot to rant about my Devy concert hiccup! I thought the concert must have got cancelled or something because I turned up to a dark and empty auditorium at RNA. I wandered up and down Gregory Tce upset and wondering what the f**k was going on, trying to use the net on my new phone to find out. I ended up bursting into tears at the Jubilee before I found one of the gig guide sites listing the concert said The Hi-Fi in West End. So I took a chance and caught a cab there, and....and....There it was! . I got there while the support act was still playing, thank god!!

By the end of the night my back hurt and I had serious blisters on my feet, but Devy is worth the pain. He did a meet and signing thing after the concert finished. I stuck around for a bit but gave up as the crowd to meet him was too deep and nobody was leaving the crowd after they had their turn with him. They were hogging Devy! Oh well, I did manage to get several feet away from him and he waved at me. Though I think I deserved a hug from him after a night like that.

Then it cost me $55 to get back home to my brother's at 12:30am.

And on the way up on Tuesday I drove into Ballina for dinner at Maccas and went to the toilets there, and the disabled toilet was called the "ambulant" toilet.

It's like, has the word disabled become un-PC?

"Hey {name}, don't forget your stick-on windscreen thingo so you can park in the dis....I mean, "ambulant" car spots"

"Do you have dis....I mean, "ambulant" access into the building?"
