I'm back in the Cockney Spirit! I'm sturdy enough to use a Routemaster for an avatar, again. :O)

Something I love about being around another ASD person:

They cannot read you and know that you are fighting down the urge to start crying uncontrollably, therefore they won't ask you what's wrong unless you actually do start crying uncontrollably, so you don't have to feel humiliated about showing your more vulnerable emotions in front of another human.

If you rearrange the letters in Buck Dich (a german song), it reads "Duck Bich"
Also, you can turn DRUMBASS into DUMBASS just by removing the "R".

Size: 25x21x5-6 mm This large gemstone comes from Deer Creek Arizona and has nice gemmy colors of green and a touch of pastel. Relatively flat bottomed for a large and convoluted piece. Nice collector or large setting.

Fire agate and its friends

I thought about ebay as a possible way to disperse my collection of gems and minerals way back in 1994 while a resident of Mexico, but it was 2007 before I listed my first item and at this writing I have been selling since Janurary 2007. It has been fun. I was born and raised in an ideal place for a rockhound; Copper, gold, silver, lead, and all the minerals that come with such deposits, all lay within 100 miles of the family farm near Safford, Arizona in the southeast part of the state. I have haunted the gem shows for many years, collecting, trading, buying and selling gems and minerals. I also do a little mining when the opportunity presents itself. Now that I am sixty and the cost of gas and show space has outrun my energy reserves, I am turning to cyber-sales, bringing with me a nice inventory of just about anything you might find at a typical gem show.

My speciality is fire agate, a wonderful stone that will charm you, or break your heart on a day -to- day basis if you insist on uncovering its hidden beauty. There is currently no new fire agate in production, only what little is left in the few places in world where it is found formed so many years ago, but the mines are still producing, especially Deer Creek, where the Penny Pit is producing some fine stones. The One track is no slouch for reserves; it is a younger mine, with great material coming out its ryolite. These mines are active and private. do not visit these mines without permission from the owners, it could be very embarrassing for tresspassers.

If a^2+b^2=c^2, then
c=a(sqrt((b/a)^2+1))

A photograph I made this afternoon of the fig tree in my garden. Nature is really late this year (> 1 month, I think) in giving it's Spring signs here in Holland. Anyway I hope in August I'll have again lots of fruit from it.
