My morning was awful, although I was highly productive. So far my afternoon is going a little better. Crossing all of the crossable parts that it gets better from here.

I cleaned my little brother's room because he lost his D.S - it was under his bed and he was yelling at me and my older brother for stealing it

The wikipedia article for Tea (meal) is quite confusing. It mentions that in Australia the word will be used to describe what is called, "dinner," and that this follows British convention. Minor confusion so far, since I use, "dinner," to as a synonym for lunch whereas Wikipedia seems to be meaning the meal in the evening.

It becomes more confusing when it comes to the British section, for it doesn't mention this use of the word at all, though it does mention high tea - but indicates it is a more specific thing: a substitute for afternoon tea (a light meal involving the drink called tea) that is more substantial. It also says that this has been largely replaced by the custom of having a big evening meal, disqualifying it from having the same use as mentioned in the Australia section.

So, I am completely in the dark about what the official name for this evening meal actually is.

To me, dinner is lunch and supper is the snack had before going to bed.

Really? For me, the meal in the middle of the day is lunch. It goes breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper. The last part seems to be interchangable.

Well, we have breakfast in common. :thumleft:

Lunch is commonly used (and is more official: school lunch, lunch-break etc.), whereas dinner seems more to be used in places where more dialect is used, but dinner is the more traditional one. I prefer the word lunch to the word dinner.
