Only 2 days till January??! ! In fact, not even that??! ! Where did the year go??! ! I still remember things from MONTHS ago as if they were yesterday!! Also, why am I using so much punctuation? (For some reason I don't like using just 1 exclamation mark).

The man from the store I bought my new blu ray DVD from came out yesterday to set it up for me , he also showed me how to record with it, He wrote some things down so I could understand how to work it.

2 year old niece just had her her foot broken in a few places (falling glass). That's gonna hurt. Lucky that she's not far from a hospital and they can fix such well nowadays; still gonna hurt like a bastard.

Poor girl.

NZ must be already in 2014. We have only 3h40m left here in WA.

Yes, eastern Australia does. Western Australia is three hours behind as we don't have daylight saving.
