I went shopping today but It was only the supermarkets and target that were open, I could've gone to IGA instead but never mind.
It was very quiet in the shopping centre somehow I found that unnerving when there's barely anyone there.

My cat, Miss Kitty, was pretty spooked by the fireworks, so I put her on my bed and turned on the fan. She seems to be doing much better now, she actually looks pretty peaceful.

^ My cat Soul is holding up well in spite of the fireworks near my place.

My way to ring in the New Year? Watching Pokemon Origins and then listening to "Let's Fighting Love" as loud as I can, on repeat.

I am super pumped!

Me? Watching random baseball stuff and thinking about the 2014 MLB season. I am ready!

In the Youtube video for Pokemon Origins, I was surprised to see comments from people who hated Blue and thought he was the biggest jerk. I actually saw him as being a fairly sympathetic character, since he never did anything out of pure spite/malice and you could tell he had a good heart since he helped Red on occasion. I also actually felt kind of sorry for Blue because you could tell that his ego was bruised after his final battle with Red and it didn't seem fair that Professor Oak appeared to favor Red over Blue, who was his own grandson.

Speaking of jerks with sympathetic attributes, I was really happy with the way that Giovanni was portrayed in Origins, especially how he behaved after Red's Gym Battle with him. I was glad that he was portrayed as being the complex character I always saw him as, instead of as a pure villain. Sympathetic villains are my favorites.
