That sounds amazing :D

I'm happy today because even though I am feeling poorly I'm going to have my favourite meal for tea.

Festa Junina was tonday / tonight.

We held it on the beach this year, complete with BBQ and bonfire. Had to stop when it started pouring down. All in all, it was great. I haven't had that much fun in ages!
Lots of music, dancing, drinking, steak, chicken hearts, corncake, quentão, etc.
I even got up and sang at one point
One of the boys sang a song for me *embarrassment overload*
Best of all, I got the job of drawing on everyone!
Knowing my friends, they're going to keep giving me crap about tonight for the next 6 months....

I went to the Abbostford Walk For Life with my best friend this afternoon. It's been the best afternoon that I've had in a long time. :)

i went to the bookshop and came upon john howards autobiography and moved it to the crime section. wish i had i camera so i could post it to the facebook page urging people to do this. ah well. i stumbled upon left turn and read nazeem husseins chapter on racism in australia. the guy's a comedian so it was mildly amusing. i also saw a girl(well shes a woman now) that i used to be friends with in highschool at the train station but she didnt notice me. she's still beautiful.

I went out to dinner with my family, aunt and uncle. It was quite nice because I haven't really wanted to be around my family for awhile and I'm slowly starting to get happier than I was since last summer when I moved back to Ontario from Alberta.

I found a lot of pop cans in the part this evening. :)

I only collect them in the evenings and when the days are longer.

I bought a doll to display (not to play with but I don't doubt I'll be playing with it a just liiiittle bit when I take it out of the box.)
It's a doll from the "La Newborn" collection from Berenguer, I bought a boy. They are life size, super realistic and well sculpted baby dolls that are also anatomically correct (they have genitals), they come with a change of clothes and a little hospital wrist band. They all have different facial expressions too and you can buy boys or girls of either European or Afro-Caribbean decent. The detailing is excellent and there are even slight blemishes on the doll's skin.
I love some of Berenguer's dolls, they are WAY to good to be "kids' toys" and are a thing to look at really. It's the closest to a reborn I can afford, it was £14 something from Smyths toy shop. On the internet they cost £40-odd sometimes! Bargain!

I'll take a piccy when I've taken it out of the box, but not right now as I'm in Tesco cafe. (Oh the joys of wireless dongles!)

*waits for ridicule from family members and endless lectures about saving money...*
