Lootery, lottery......

I had water in my boots when I got back from gathering drink cans and bottles at 1:00 this afternoon. I had to put them in front of my portable heater for the better part of the afternoon.

Yum, sparkling cider is nice.

I'm sure if Iris from Pokemon could talk to me and saw me crying tonight, she would probably say, "Why are you crying over your new nephew? You should be happy to be an auntie again! Besides, you'll have plenty of time to visit with your mom when she wakes up tomorrow morning. *sighs* I swear, Alex, you can be such a little kid* sometimes! "

* In the English dub of the Pokemon Best Wishes anime, Iris often teases Ash by telling him that he acts "like a little kid". She says it so often that it's practically a catch phrase. I can say with 100% certainty that she would tease me in exactly the same way, because when it comes to behaving like a child, I have Ash beat by a longshot.

I need to sleep soon. I have a dental appointment tomorrow........

It's amazing how much a character can evolve over the course of time. I designed an original character back in June 2013 and it's amazing how all these little details about him changed between then and December. Then he got a complete overhaul after a friend's interpretation of him lead me to take him in a completely new direction.

The progression of this character's design almost reminds me of the infamous Louis Wain "before and after schizophrenia" paintings. I did have a small mental breakdown in October, and I'm going through a pretty rough time emotionally right now, so maybe that has something to do with it.

My usage stats for my net was a mile long thanks to all the drop outs. Every time it reconnected another line was posted in the stats. The number of connections and disconnections for Saturday alone was a mile long!

Wait I just calculated a rough estimate; 220 dropouts on Saturday between 8am and midnight

Why'd I have to lost the one piece of paper that was important to me? Now I have to have another printed...
