A box of fresh spinach. I've never seen it in boxes in the UK, only in bags. Boxes are good for stopping the spinach getting crushed, but as long as you're careful with taking it home and storing it in the fridge, it's not really an issue, and those boxes must have a bigger carbon footprint than the bags. Still, the empty boxes can be useful. I use one to put over the loaves I bake to stop them going too dry while they're cooling.
