as for the dancing tomato dream, it was brought to my attention that subway sandwich wraps have cartoon pictures of dancing tomatoes with faces and limbs on them. but i have not ever been to a subway sandwich place so that is moot. maybe my dreaming psyche sifted it out from the collective unconscious ala jung? i dunno.
anyways, i just had this [recurring] dream, in which my left hand has a tunnel-like fissure in it, that when [in the dream] i probe it with a q-tip it goes further in than the q-tip can reach. it doesn't hurt when i do this but it is a little tender like any exposed lacerated flesh. it is bloodless, and dry. just a deep ruggae-lined hole in my left hand. in the dream i tried stapling it closed but the staples came out for some reason soon afterward. then i awoke.

Fell asleep listening to a religious podcast last night, had a strange dream in which me and a few others holed up in a church, and fended off an army of zombies with spears and crowbars. Quite graphic actually ![]()

I dreamed about people doing heroine. I don't remember much except a bunch of weirdos injecting needles into themselves & I was confused wondering why they were all doing it. I have NO clue why I dreamed about that

I had 3 dreams last night that I remember well, but I shall post my favourite one (it's long).
I was in the city but it was crumbling and almost destroyed, and this giant walking tree a bit like the trees on lord of the rings was crushing all the buildings and cars under his feet. There weren't many people there, just grey concrete buildings. I ran away from the tree and into a more rural area, I think it was a woodland where I came across this anthropomorphic lizard that wore clothes and walked bipedal. I asked him why the tree was destroying the city and he said it wasn't him, but he was working for the man that was. They wanted the city destroyed and turned into countryside. The lizard asked me if I wanted to see their leader and I said yeah sure. We were walking down a road in the countryside, well it was grey and concrete-like in front of me, but as I walked the space behind me would turn into country side with fields and trees literally following me. Then there was a piece of turf that was sentient and moved about like a cartoony magic carpet, and he was tearing strips of grass from the field and rolling it a long the path while the rest of the environment changed by magic.
We came across a one story building with a play area type thing around it with bark chippings on the floor and play equipment. It looked like a place where you'd keep animals in a zoo. Then I had a feeling what was coming next, and I was right. I was inside the outdoor area and there I saw a juvenile chimp that was walking on two legs and looked like a human child, but hairy with a chimp's head obviously. And I saw more of them inside, running about and stuff. So it turned out that this city destroying tree and magical environment change was being planned by the alpha male chimp. The lizard was telling me all about him, saying he's all awesome and magnificent and stuff, and that when I meet him I should bow and act all submissive like he was a king. I could see inside some dark space with a shadow there, I thought it was him but I heard banging and pant-hooting from behind me so I knew it was him. I ran away quite nervous but then suddenly he was in front of me and displaying a bit, then he stopped and started talking but I don't know what about. He was really quite big and his hair was really thick and it stood on end, I thought he was pretty cool and lived up to his hype.
I was then to stay in a house with a family of chimps that wore clothes and spoke, and there was the enclosure type space but also a street next to it. I stayed in a house in the street, there was a family with 3 males and a female around adolescent age and their mum and dad. Sometimes I had a walk in the woods or walking through the street, often alone. One night I was going for a walk in the street and I could hear chimps talking and making chimp noises, then a female who saw something she's scared of started to scream and scream and even though I was outside I could see here rocking and waving her arms about. Her family were trying to comfort her, then it was silent, and a young chimp rad bipedally towards me and he said "she always does this! She fakes just to stay up late and get her own way! She's a faker I'm sick of it!" And I was like whatever. Another time I went out and I walked a short distance but I forgot to shut and lock the door, I knew the mum of the family would have a go at me so I ran back to the door. But all the doors were shut already and I couldn't find my house anywhere, I was completely lost, some doors were open and I nearly walked in but there was nobody I knew in there, some would be like "oh hello who are you?" I did find the house, the back of the house and went inside and I told the female chimp that I forgot to lock the door, she ran out and came back but she looked pretty calm and looked at me funny,
Late that night I was in the bedroom and her 3 children were sitting on the bed and we were talking and stuff. And in the dark room I saw an even darker shadow of a giant moth fluttering, I'm scared of moths so I asked someone to kill it but the moth flew close behind me. So I went mad and covered my ears and scream at them to get rid of it, one of the sisters caught it and was holding it in her hands.
THE END

Coincidence on 34th street.
i dreamed last night that i was in the audience of the crowd that was gathered to see me demonstrating my new system when it became time for me to step up on stage.
some one grabbed my hand as i was walking down the central aisle toward the stage, and i closed my hand on their hand and i just loved that hand that grabbed my hand to hold.
i could not see whose hand it was but i felt that i could not only hold their hand, but i could hold their whole body tight and love them to eternity.
then the phone rang and i was ripped away from them because i had to wake up.
i wonder who it was?
it could be my own brain's product, but i truly felt it was the hand of another person who i would love extremely if i found them in reality.

may i suggest you find a book at your local public library, called "hello from heaven." i get the impression that this book may have answers for you. anyways, it seems this type of nocturnal reverie is most often interrupted by mundane things like phones ringing, alarm clocks going off, etc. these types of dreams are the extent of my earthly feelings of being truly, deeply loved by another sentient being. there aren't enough of those healing dreams, and for the few that exist to consistently get interrupted, is a drag.

Moth
To see a shadowy figure in your dream, represents characteristics which you have not acknowledged or incorporated into your own personality. To see a moth in your dream, indicates that some unseen irritation may not surface until it is too late. It is important to pay attention to the minor details and not to overlook certain things. Alternatively, the moth symbolizes one's weaknesses, character flaws or fragileness. If the moth was white, that may be a warning of subtle symptoms of a dawning medical problem that if ignored, may mean major illness or worse, of somebody in your family.
Monkey
To see a monkey in your dream, symbolizes insight and intuition, as well as suspicions that somebody close to you is hiding something from you. Those around you are working to advance their own interest. Alternatively, monkeys indicate an childlike attitude, a playful nature and the mischievous side of your personality.
The world was ending because the sun was ending.
The sun was a giant red disc that took up most of the sky so perhaps the earth was falling into it. It looked old and worn out. I was in a crowd of people, none of whom I knew, who were all running around screaming because it was clear we only had minutes to live. Before the world fell into this giant red, old sun, I had enough time to grab three people and kiss them and tell them I loved them as my last act alive. Then the red sun filled the entire sky and the world ended.
The last "weird" dream I can remember was from around 5 nights ago. In the dream, I only remember me saying "This is a dream". I think it was because I noticed something that can't happen in reality, but can in my world.
However, I woke up.
Probably won't be a while before I experience a lucid dream again.

Last night I dreamt that me and my mum were both having a baby at the same time, well we already had them at this point. And we were going to show my siblings our newborns, I was holding my mum's while my mum went upstairs (I think she was getting my brother but I can't remember.) I was holding him/her and looking at their face and thinking they were the most adorable baby ever, I had completely forgotten I already had one of my own and wanted my mum's instead. When my mum came in she said "hey that's not yours you've already got a daughter." And I was like "oh yeah!" I didn't know where she was though and I was worried because I hadn't even fed her yet or done anything with her, I had given birth to this baby 2 days before. A few things happened that I can't remember.
And then I went in my bedroom and saw a little cute toddler girl with blonde curly hair, she looked about 18 months old. She was my daughter, but instead of being a newborn she had grown in just 2 days. She didn't look hungry or anything, she was wearing clothes and looked quite happy. She was asleep but when I stood by the bed she woke up, I was going up there to feed her but somehow I no longer knew what to do, or if I even needed to any more. I spoke to her, but then she spoke back with the skill and vocabulary of a 6 year old, I can't remember everything she said. But along the lines of "I love you mummy" and other sweet and nice things, I kissed her on the cheek and she started to go back sleep again so I went to walk out of the room. But she stopped me and said something else before I went.
Next minute I was going shopping with my mum, her baby, my daughter and my uncle. Now she looked even bigger, she was now 5 years old and so her speech matched her age. I was holding her hand and she was talking to me but I can't remember what she was saying, and my uncle was talking to me too.

That must have been strangely beautiful.
I've had a few apocalyptic dreams like that, which weren't exactly lucid because I didn't realize that I was dreaming, but I felt fully consciously present. One was I was standing with a group of people watching the sky. We knew a country overseas had launched some nuclear missiles and that soon our lives as we knew it would be over. Another was being in a suburb and looking up at the sky which was filled with massive alien warships. Each time I thought "I'm not dreaming, this is really happening."
