I stared death in the face, and begged for my life.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

John Wayne was so tough that he always played Russian Roulette with a loaded gun but never once got hurt.

John Wayne was so fast and accurate with his gun that he shot Chuck Norris, and wounded him!! 8O

John Wayne was the second gunman on the grassy knoll. The reason no one caught him was because he fired the shot from Hollywood. :P

A starling flew into my window earlier today. I went into the garden to look for it, but I couldn't find it, so I think (hope) it recovered its senses and flew off.

I saved a catepillar who was crossing the sidewalk for fear he would be crushed and placed him in the garden. It's amazing what you notice when you don't look up when you walk.

I was on the bus today, and there was a little girl who was about 4 or 5 years old, and she was explaining the rules of the bus to her parents. According to her,
"The rules of the bus are: you're not allowed to smoke, eat, drink or get naked."
It was cute. And funny.

There's someone calling me (phone) every day, but the number isn't shown on the display, it says hidden.

In the past, it was my psycho aunt who called in a phone stalker-ish way (when I answered no one would say anything etc.), though she'd call at insane times as well (3am etc.)

Last week the same thing happened...(no one saying anything on the other side of the phone).
And it only happens when I'm alone (my dad works away from home a set number of days each week) that the 'hidden' phone numbers start calling.

but I know that other people have their number hidden as well, but I don't feel like taking the chance of 'pleasing' my aunt by picking up (so she'll be all HAHAAAA I'm ANNOYING her! My evil little plan to take over the WOOORLDDD by phone stalking the innocent is WORKING... HAHAAAA).

But anyway.
If it's not my aunt and if the message the person has is so important that they call like 10 times a day...
Why can't they just leave a message on the answering machine? I mean, after trying to call so much, surely the message must be burned into your brain, so you'd easily be able to leave a message.

I just watched "The Spirit"
directed by Alan Moore.

Talk about disappointing.
The thing is, I sort of get what he was going for.
The original "The Spirit" comic by Will Eisner had this bizarre kind of thuggery/hooliganism
humour going on, and he's tried to remain true to that,
but it just doesn't work,

not after the expectations that were raised after "300" and "Sin City"
which are so dark and visceral.

:(
