Oooh no I did not know that. I knew they had the 7 strings, but not about the others. I reckon they should make guitars and banjos that incorporate that idea, so it would be like a hybrid of the two.... Hmmmm. :chin:

they should indeed.. although you'd have to raise the playing strings, it would end being a sitar again.. lol
sitars often play with tabla drums.. i happen to have some, handmade from india but no sitar.. probably have to lose the drums too. :(

Oooohh I only wish. Unfortunately it'd be wasted on me. A guitar that fine would need someone who could properly play it. Wouldn't be much point in me owning one.
