I'm no Trump supporter, but I think the media is completely misrepresenting this. Trump didn't mean to say to inject disinfectant into people. What he meant was remove the lungs from the body, turn them inside out, spray the inside liberally with disinfectant, dry them under UV light, then turn them back out and return them to the body. But you won't see any of the media saying this.
(not in quotes because I'm not directly quoting, I know I forgot some of the words and substituted something similar in places)
