I have no work at the minute. I'm bored. I can't shake off the cold I've had for weeks and feel constantly tired. And I have no motivation to do anything much at all.

Plus the house is chilly (boiler needs repair) and the only place I can get warm is in bed under the blankets. I have tons of clothes to wash but the ones I washed on Sunday aren't properly dry yet.

And I need a shower but the water is only just warm and the bathroom freezing. And I can't have a bath as it's leaking into the living room downstairs. Guys supposedly coming to do repairs this week sometime so more disruption. (Landlord says it'll be done by the end of this week but from him that means in about 3 weeks.)

Besides I have no clean towels and no clean pyjamas to put on afterwards, so what's the point?

I don't normally skip showers but the water isn't hot enough for me to feel properly clean after using this one.

I feel terrible, worse than I have in a long time, I think it's coming off antidepressants for my anxiety that is primarily to blame, but normal anxieties and the depressing prospect of Christmas alone aren't helping of course. I never know what to do when I get like this, I want to vent my worries just to get reassurance that it's all in my head, but I feel like if I do vent them it will chase people away. People don't like people who are depressed, anxious or paranoid...the fact I'm depressed, anxious or paranoid around people just makes me more depressed, anxious and paranoid about how they feel about me as a result.

I'm unhappy that I not only don't get to see my boyfriend for Christmas, but don't see him before Christmas either, it makes me worry about why he'd not want to see me over Christmas. As we both have things going on in January I worry we'll not see each other until later in January, or worse, not till February. The worry added to depression results in paranoia and then anxiety about how this comes across. Ugh!

Had to take a bus to Kansas.

Travel is a part of my job, and I'm okay with that, I just wish I got to got to better places.

The Saints lost...well, at least we can say that New Orleans fans are more classy than Atlanta's. We don't go around throwing eggs at the opposing team's buses.

Realized that I don't see a future with this girl I've been talking to for a year. She didn't want to take the next step, so I had to let her go.

Aaargh, now the heating is on full-blast and I woke up this morning covered in sweat and gasping for breath! Why always one extreme or the other?

A general feeling of being trapped and uneasy.

Ran late for the second Saturday in a row. I hope I'm not in trouble.

Today marks 7 years that I have been involuntarily celibate. Not even a date or a sniff of attention in that time. :(

Even the best china is taken off the shelf once a year.
Even the dustbin gets taken out once a week.

My friends sister was two weeks overdue with her first child...
...she went for a check-up; there was no heart beat.

I can't imagine anything more devastating
