You know, the more I think about it, the more I reach the awareness and realisation that NT's are the 'crazy ones' and Aspies are the 'normal people'. We are the pinnacle of human thoughts, endeavours and achievement (apart from my occasional and fully justified psychotic breaks, of course).

Here is an example (yet another one)...

My mother wanted me to take her shopping and I agreed to do so (I really should stop doing that...being 'nice' to people because others don't care how 'nice' I am, as long as they can get their way).

Now, on the way into the supermarket, I asked my mother;

"Do we need a trolley today?"

Mother: "No, I only need to get a few things, a basket should be fine".

Me: "Are you sure you do not require a trolley today?"

Mother: "I am 100% sure I do not require a trolley today, so can you please pass me a basket?"

Me: "I just need to make this fully certain and I need to really know...should I get a trolley? do you need a trolley? you know, just in case? please promise me that you will not need a trolley...."

Mum: "Stop being ridiculous and read my lips...I DO NOT require a trolley so pass me a basket NOW or I shall just get it myself".

Me: "Okay then, as long as you are certain". *passes her a basket and we go shopping...

She gets 10kg of potatoes, 3 litres of milk and 5 kg of rice...for starters...

Mum: "Can you please carry this basket for me because it's getting too heavy now".

I do so and she keeps on loading it up to the point where I can no longer lift or carry the basket, so I get down on my hands and knees and start pushing it along the supermarket floor...

Mum: "Get up this instant, you look like a moron and you're embarassing me...don't you have any self-respect?"

Me: "Nope, I lost that years ago, but I have a problem now...I cannot carry this basket here and it's getting too full to put anything else into it, so what do you suggest I do, because I am stuck...what would you do in my situation?

Mum: "I would stop being an idiot and embarassing myself and others and go get a damn TROLLEY".

Me: "A trolley? what the f*** is a trolley?"

Mum: "Next time, remind me to get somebody else to take me shopping".

Me: "I think that will be a very good idea".

Should be studying my languages; instead I'm loafing around here on the forum and listening to the radio. Feeling kind of blah.

the TV is on in the background with the sound down, but it seems that there is a show on about 2 identical twins. one is apparently called "before" and the other one is called "after " (what was their mother thinking?). they showed a picture of them side by side, and apart from "before" looking depressed, and "after" looking elated, they were certainly the most identical looking twins i ever saw.

I think I have another episode of binge-eating coming up, it's just getting more and more difficult to fill the void I'm feeling in my life.

Now I know why websites like Facebook are called social media. The interactions one has on these websites can be as complicated, bewildering and trickey as the social contacts in every day life. 8O

I just drove through the Party Barn to get some beer, and the cashier started to put my one item into a plastic bag. I said, "Oh, I don't need a bag." As I drove away, I noticed her throwing away the bag. I guess I should have gone ahead and taken it, so that it could have at least been recycled.
