I was seriously obsessed with this band from the time I was 14 to....well I still follow them and get excited when I get new news of them. My main obsession was John Taylor, the bassist. I actually moved to California because he lived here...that was in 98 before I met my husband. Anyway, I love this song...its my favorite even though it was from one of their albums that really flopped called Liberty. I may post a video that John did in his solo days in the late 90s.

I've been loving this song for over 20 years now. The somewhat jazzy musical basis under the lyrics (um, I'm Dutch.... not to let the lyrics of a not native languaged song be overly dominant isn't that hard here) is quite brilliant in my opinion.... The Doors - 'riders on the storm'
