i went around to a couple of florists and garden centres to look for the plants on my list and get an idea of how affordable this was gonna be and so far only one place has most of the plants i need. they even have purple carrots!(not on my list though) i asked the man about plants i could stick in my yard and described the conditions and his only comment was "thats very limiting" and then he directed me to plants i didnt want which wasnt helpful but the place is actually decent and i have bought from there previously.

I bought one kilo, around two pounds. of chocolate!

No fancy branding or packaging, just two huge, solid bars of brown goodness! I hit myself in the head with them, and it hurt like a brick

I rested very well last night and woke up in the arms of my love this morning. Can't ask for anything better than that.

Had a meaningful conversation with my Mom about the nature of special interests. I love having conversations with my mom; she's better at analyzing me than any therapist I've been to.

today was a good day. i did a poster run on campus and i brought my same sex marriage rally stickers with me and i and the comrade that i partnered with used them up. afterwards i decided on going to the art gallery to see the biennale exhibition which i missed 2 years ago. while i was there i noticed that there was a film screening for naidoc week and went, then afterwards there was a pannel with fiona foley, michael anderson and a guy whose last name is cole and whose first name i keep forgeting. their names are all big in the aboriginal community. the men were part of the tent embassy in 1972- they helped set it up and they were at the invasion day protests. ms. foley comes from a long line of aboriginal activists. i had no idea the thing was on, i was just real lucky. and while i was there one of my house mates turned up by chance. good indication he supports ATSI rights but then i didnt think he would be opposed to them to begin with.

On my way home, the weather was better. I actually felt hot. And now I'm listening to a very optimistic song.
