I thought my bathroom extractor fan was broken because it was so quiet. But it's actually working. So quietly. It's nice but I wonder what happened to it. I then thought maybe something's wrong with my hearing. But I can hear other noises very well. So everything is fine.

there is no "use by" date on my container of salt!
expert advice may enlighten me to the fact that salt lasts "forever", but "forever" is just a coin of their phrases.

nothing lasts forever because everything breaks down over time. entropy will dismantle all that is thought to be static, even in description.

so my salt will not last forever. i better use it before the universe peters out.

do not stop the world please God if i have more than a grain of salt somewhere in my house?
