the girl at the supermarket today was wrong.

i was looking at a selection of cheeses that i had asked her the location of, and she decided to accompany me to the cheese section, and whilst i was dimly aware of her presence, i never the less was disappointed by the poverty of variety, and i shook my head and she said she knew what i was thinking.

well i then thought of the fuel valves in a jt-3d engine and i told her she was wrong. (she could not possibly be thinking about that). she then left me to my private devices.

i wish i did not just discard the attention of people. i have little interest in others, but their minds are not like mine and only from them will i ever learn new ways to think.

I enjoy reading the Random thread. It is like tiny movies. But now I am wondering about the endings, like: babybird, did you get your tea and was it delicious?
And, b9 Could you please describe your cat in a post here?

I'm teaching myself Finnish, Russian and Indonesian. I'm also reading the Lord of the Rings in German. This is because I have too much free time.

are you "saying" that what is said in those languages is not expressible in english?
is there a whole sector of thought that can not be described in the english language?

Thank you. That is a beautiful cat. From what I heard on the clip your voice does not sound chipmunk-ish.
Right now in fact my cats are gazing out the window at chipmunks.

I think that the fur color pattern in b9's video only happens in females, doesn't it? Male cats with that pattern usually die before birth. So I believe she is a female.

I shelled and skinned 30 chestnuts on Saturday. It was time-consuming and tiring. Then, after that, I looked at some websites about how to do that quickly and easily. Now I really want to try it, but I have no chestnut left. I was even having a dream last night about easily shelling and skinning chestnuts. I have to buy some chestnuts today (Monday) after work so that I can get it out of my head.
