this is the second time i've called the animal hospital and this is the second time i've been hung up on before i could even get two words in.

i don't understand why English insists on capitalizing the personal pronoun 'I', all the time.
no other language does it, we don't capitalize 'he' or 'you', so why 'i'?
it can't be only because it's a single letter all it's own, then explain to me why we don't capitalize 'a' when used as an article? oh well, feel free to correct me on this i suppose.
i admit though, it does look better in some way. maybe that's it. pure aesthetics.
it seems to me that English has a severe case of Special Snowflake Syndrome.

The main character on The Shield has an autistic son. In an episode I recently watched, we see him trying to cut a piece of pizza with a spoon. And this comes after someone points out that autism is not mental retardation. Ugh.
