People and their alliances, then again I need to consider my own and possibly shorten it.

I've never sweated so much at 6am.
It's going to be a scorcher.

Nothing at all. My mind is almost always blank.

Worrying if I will ever get better. Thinking that my health could suddenly further deteriorate at any moment without warning. I'll be honest, the uncertainty and unknown scares me.

We got a severe thunderstorm warning too, but we ended up getting barely anything in terms of a storm. Kinda disappointing. Other nearby areas copped some storm damage, but our city got out unscathed.

^ Lots of thunder and lightning atm but looking at the radar it seems to be heading south of us.
We might just catch the edge of it.

I was just talking to my mom on the phone. She told me my grandfather died. :(

He wasn't doing very well this past week, so I was expecting this to happen soon. He was 92, has had a good life, and he's no longer suffering from the dementia and other health problems he's had the past few years.

My grandmother is still with us. Mom says she's doing fine.

Dear Lostonearth35, I can relate into you in that my grandmother passed away 7 years ago and at that time she was not in the best of health. However, she's in a more serene environment. I hope you'll be able to find some serenity?

So glad that thread has dropped off the radar.
I never want to see it again.

Seeing salted caramel desserts at the supermarket has made me think, more specifically when they're Australian products purported to be made with Murray River salt. I mean, why are we turning one of the country's biggest environmental concerns into a delicacy? (the Murray turning saline that is). It seems offensive to me.
Oooh ahh Murray River salt, how gourmet . Salt that shouldn't even be there in the first place.
I'd like to see what ideas those yuppie chefs have in mind for the blue-green algae blooms!
