I was asking about what it did, because it was already pushed....

What is that offensive irony smell?

Awkward reply:

Oops. It seems to be that time of the month again. (Runs off)
(No.)

So when it said human resources, it really meant human resources?

Ever hear of Soylent Green? The term 'Human Resources' might just apply.

This is all your fault! Someone should have warned me about the, "Human Resources," button!

On the other hand, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

 I'd feel sorry for you if you were female and have to go through this every month! Especially because you're afraid of blood!
Plus, for many people, including me, it's extremely painful! (It hasn't started yet this time. The countdown begins.)

Do you mean the cycle that happens to be the best explanation for why there are many more lunar goddesses than gods?

"...couldn't help remembering how much he'd wanted a puppy when he was a little boy. Mind you, they'd been starving — anything with meat on it would have done."

That reminds me of The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Read it and it will likely scar you for life.
Challenge accepted?

Pauvre bêtise. It would have given a nice, long obsession extending for no less than a few weeks or months, (or years, if you are lucky or unlucky, depending on how you look at it)..

I think I've had enough "nice, long obsessions" to last me a lifetime.
What I remember in order from most recent: Portal, German punk rock (Die Toten Hosen), Linkin Park, dragons, dinosaur-bird evolutionary intermediates, phoenixes, swans, orcas, dolphins, The Magic School Bus, human anatomy.
Rather simplistic, really. But recurring and annoying.

EDIT: My Aspie friend/crush claims not to have these temporary obsessions.
