I worked out what notes were missing from one of my songs, and now have an idea of a tune for another song I'm now writing.

Miss wierdo: "The sun gives light. There isn't any logic what so ever to creating light before the sun. Not at all."

Mr. Beverage: "The light lets you see what you are doing. Is that not logical? You think god can make all those trillions upon trillions of little hydrogen atoms in the dark?"

Miss wierdo: ":P lol"

i also went to my first education class and history class today and they were good.

I'm jealous of you I'm on the south east with poor drainage and nothing grows, apart from water cress , chilli and paw paw

Better than nothing I suppose ?

actually im in the same situation as you. my front yard recieves a lttle more sun than the back but it still isnt much and at the back the blasted landlord covered the entire yard in concrete except for the side that faces south. it's wet and dark and almost nothing grows there. as far as herbs go my comrade planted lavender and that seems to be doing ok which is really strange seeing as its a full sun/part shade plant. she also planted native violets. i've been brainstorming a list of plants that could go there. so far i have:
camellia sinensis(or any camellia but this one i can make tea with)
valerian
angelica
mint(ive grown it in shade before and it does ok.)
parsley(same as mint)
common bugle
lily of the valley
hydrangea
honeysuckle
jerusalem cowslip
kidney weed
heartleaf

not many of those are herbs which i prefer and to what extent they will tolerate full shade/moist soil i dont know but when your garden is a hole how picky can you be? being able to grow pawpaw is one good thing(or it is if you like it) that comes out of living in a warm area.

Thanks for the list I think the poor draining soil is the nail in the coffen the herbs grow ok around the paw paw tree as it suck up excess moisture though sadly all I end up with is pint sized fruit , sill I may plant a few more to dry up the garden. :?

I'm seriously considering weed type greens , especially so of the Italian sort though I worry these will fail to grow well to !

Have you thought of a raised bed system? Were I live there is a lot of clay type soils. I can grow any thing that the local climate will support and then some.

my comrade told me the results of his trial today. he and the many others arrested for protesting have been aquited of all charges and now the lawyers are going to sue the cops for their time. the cops also have to pay for their lagal fees. the fact that these lawyers were representing them for like a month or something means the cops are going to have to pay up big time. made my day.
